Entry Clearance Visa – Visa from Abroad

Please note that if you are about to apply, or have applied for a visa from abroad, you may struggle to travel to the UK within the required days, e.g. 30 days for spouse visa, due to flight cancellations and travel restrictions, in which case you may need to contact the Home Office to avoid the visa lapsing.

Leave to Remain – Visa from within the UK

Please note that if you need to apply for a visa extension then the application does still need to be submitted on time. If you are in UK and need to attend a Biometric Enrolment you may want to note the current announcement by the UKVI…. which states:

If you have Coronavirus symptoms and should be self-isolating, or if you have Coronavirus, you must not attend for your appointment. Please email admin.ukvas@soprasteria.com with ‘COVID-19’ and your UAN in the subject to say that you cannot attend. We will refund your fee and will tell the Home Office.

On the same note, Cross Border Legal Solicitors have decided that, in the interest of protecting our clients, staff and the general public, the Solicitor will avoid face-to face meetings at our offices, but will continue to support all clients via video conference (Facetime, Skype or WhatsApp).
